Bath Community Hospital is a patient-focused small hospital in rural Virginia that offers excellent working conditions, a team environment, and opportunities for professional development. Under the supervision and direction of the Nurse, performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit or within his/her department. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures. Assists with transports and is responsible for the safe transportation of non-ambulatory patients to and from medical facilities.
